Anyone ever heard of that magic barometric pressure of 30.31 mmHg? An old guy back in the day that showed me the ropes per say told me to watch the barometric pressure on the fall and when it hits 30.31 mmHg, the big boys will be on the move. Anyone have any insight to this or was the old man pulling my chain.

I have a book by the Drury brothers that touches on this. Usually when it hits the magic number the deer start feeding knowing that bad weather is on the way per what I remember reading so they move regardless of when durring the day it is.
