I' d shoot a skunk anytime. Too many of the stinkers running around in this area and they need thinning out. Problem is, they' re usually nocturnal and if you see one in the middle of the day it could be sick. Rabies is a big problem around here and a big concern, so I only use blunts to try to keep from getting blood on my arrow.
And no, I don' t eat them. I don' t shoot armadillos either. They' re the Official State Critter in Texas. Really! By Act of the state legislature.
Feral hogs are fair game year round here and that wild pork will make you chunk rocks at venison.

When I was a teen, I would get up on my garage in the cover of a tree that overhung it. I would put bread on the ground 15-20 yards away and shoot starlings and english sparrows. There is no closed season on them in Michigan. Those were the days.

If you are interested, you could tag along with me on a snype hunt, season is in all year long, and it would be great practice.
Now that sounds like fun! I have a couple of good snype hounds , mind if I tag along too?

well pretty much anything if you name it you can shoot it, I think?
Providing you are not tresspassing.
