If you are interested, you could tag along with me on a snype hunt, season is in all year long, and it would be great practice.

Not much to add but we can hunt predators, rabbits pretty much year round. Squirrels are a good target when on the ground for safety reasons. They don' t hold still for long and you probably won' t have to worry about cleaning very many of them.

a lot of states allow Coyote hunting all year. They are a real challenge and can be a lot of fun to call in.

some states allow wild boar hunting year round which would be a lot of fun for anyone who loves to bowhunt.

I' ve heard they are kind of STUPID and are the easiest of animals to hunt. In fact I' ve heard they are too easy and it presents little challenge; also the meat is worse than Whistle Pigs or Skunks. I guess they really stink!

We have a local archery shop that has a ' woodchuck' pool that runs similar to a deer pool only he gives prizes for the most and the heaviest. Most farmers here will welcome ' chuck hunters if they hunt early especially before they start having litters. The pool is only for bow hunters.

Dick.
The best way to cook them PETA' s up is to boill them in a very large pot with 6 or 7 medium to large rocks but you have to keep adding water as they take about 24 hours to cook completely.
Now when the rocks you threw into the pot are soft throw out the PETA' s and eat the rocks
