They've been working great for me for about 13 years or so! It's hardd to beat a 2" cut, and no rubberbands is nice and they fly fantastic as well! Penetration is the only issue at times but with that 2" cut they don't go far, pass through or not!
Rocky Mountain still makes them for Bass Pro if you need them.

I'm with Matt, most underrated mechanical out there. I used them for three years before going back to fixed, and would not hesitate in using the Gators again. Simple and effective. Great head.

Yep, great head. Like Matt and 5575gb said, they are an older design. One that should have never been discontinued; which I believe they now are. Still a lot of stock out there though. Excellent head and I always buy some when I see them. They are also a very, very tough mechanical.

I've been using the older chisel tip Gator on and off for about 10 years. Still the most effective head I've used to date. Igot this years buck with my lastGator butunfortunately I wasn't able to recover the arrow. It was buck # 4 on that last lucky broadhead!

I agree the Matt/PA I love the Gators and think they are one of the best two blade mechanical heads on the market. I wish they were more popular, I think Bass pro is the only place you can get them now.

I'm willing to try any head that 5 shot says he loves!
