Pimp your climber?!

RE: Pimp your climber?!
I use a tie wrap to attach the bracket to my climber. I did not drill any holes in it.Also, I didn't mean PVC tubing, its just soft vinyl tubing. Racewayking- PM me with your email address and I'll send you the directions I copied off the net a while back that explains exactly how to do the upgrade, complete with pictures. Its too long to post here and I can't access web photo hosting sites from work to post the pictures.

All great tips! I take a backpack FULL of stuff that I hang from my EZ hanger.
Another climber tip, is to predrill any holes into the tree. I sometimes have a bit of trouble getting stuff screwed into trees when the temp hits the teens. Predrilling the holes, eliminated that for me!

RACEWAYKING~~
You said the shrink tubing is wearing off of your chains...!
This is actually a fairly simple fix! Go to your local electrical supply store and they will have or can order you some heat shrink tubing that is actually probably stronger then the original stuff! This is also a good time to tear all the old off and gie your chains a good cleaning and lube!
Hope this helps, also electrical tape will do about the same but wear off easy! I know what its like fighting with those damn chains!!!!!!!!!![:@]

The only tip that I have is not really even with the treestand, but more with the pull rope! I will take electrical tape and wrap around the rope to keep it from tangling and knotting up!!
Seems silly but really works!
