I have only had tag soup once in my 10 years of bowhunting but I would have to have another year of tag soup. I just started within the last couple years of shooting only mature bucks and I am sticking with it!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully I am not going to be faced with this decision any time soon.....

I initially voted that I'd shoot, but now that I think about it more if the herd is in such bad shape that the only DEER I can get a crack at all season is a small buck it would be pretty selfish of me to shoot it. I mean, for the herd to be that decimated would be pretty serious and what kind of steward of the outdoors would I be if I did that.

I have to change my vote, tag soup for me.
Did I get my point across yesterday?

I missed that, but I'd expect nothing less from you.

I'd still shoot ... fill the freezer
No bubble Tony.

This is about the only way to explain it I tried to get as many of you in the video as I could, and please no one ask where Justin got the green hat.

I was just playin', Jimbo ..... the truth is, if that's all they were allowing, that's what I'm taking ..... if I didn't, the other hunters would anyway and my freezer would be empty

If the herd was in TAHT bad of shape there would most likely be reduced tags, I'm always hungry so like I said, I'm eating![8D]

I'm in it for the venison. Feed my family for the yr. But I don't shoot the first lil buck that comes along. I take does for the venison, but if no does, then the lil guy's down.

I would go with the Tag Soup . I have let small bucks walk for several years with the hopes that they would grow into big deer . Button bucks and spikes are definately out . I'd rather take a large doe or go without .
