New opportunities. We recently moved to Carlisle, Pa and I'vehad to find new hunting spots yet again. I've got two spots that i think are gonna be great and i'm really excited to see how this season pans out.

I'm most excited to sit in my honey hole stand for the first time and listening to deer getting chased through the creek that runs through that bottom while it's still dark out. I'll never forget that noise, it's the sign of a great morning's hunt that is about to happen.

In addition to this I'm hoping for another double with my best bud and hunting partner Dan. Hopefully I can put him on a good buck at my place this year.

Mostly I'm just looking forward to hunting with friends, trying to get some stuff on film and taking the longbow out here in PA.
I expect a simple, laid back, funseason.

The peace and quiet of the hunt,man I miss it.seems like when I'm hunting all my problems seem a little smaller somehow.

Getting another chance with a buck that gave me the slip the last two seasons. Had him within 25 yards both times, but his vitals were obstructed . He was a shooter two years ago, he's still out there, and he's gonna be a giant!!!!
