Which Slick trick should I use
I want to try using Slick Tricks this year. Should I get the standard, the magnum or wait and get Grizz tricks? I'm shooting a 385 grain arrow at 248 fps which gives me 52ft lbs energy. If I turn the poundage up I can get 265 fps for 60ft lbs but at the lower poundage I can shoot longer without my shoulder hurting. I'm only hunting for whitetails and hogs, nothing bigger.

RE: Which Slick trick should I use
IIMHO I would stick with the Standards with only 52# KE. They are the same tough head and still cut an Awesome hole.
If you ever decided to try the Mags it is a simple task of just changing blades. The Standard and Mag blades interchange on the same ferrule. It is like having 2 broadheads in one. Dan |

I agree with DropTine. I recently bought a pack slick trick mag and a pack Rage. I haven't paid too much attention to the slick tricks.

ORIGINAL: whitetailbowhunter I went on their website and no.:D[8D] The GrizzTrick will undoubtedly be one of the most devastating heads on the market. 4 Blades do more cutting and the GrizzTrick has an 1 1/4" cut to boot. I prefer my Broadheads to cut on impact and not have to open;) Dan |

ORIGINAL: DropTine249 Are you aware that slick tricks are literally made in some guys garage. There was no production company, not big time research. He designed his own broadhead, friends tried it..Everyone lliked it... Now the slick trick is a very popular head !! I liked them, but once I started shooting the Rage, there was no more fixed balde for me... Dan, am I wrong about oldhootowl? |

All properties needed in a Broadhead: Toughness, Flight, Sharpness, and Flat out tissue damage. IMO the Slick Tricks are one of if not the best on the market. I'd put them up against anything and although I sell several brands of quality heads I have no intentions of switching my personal choice in heads. Dan |
