RE: Which Slick trick should I use

My feelings about Garry and the Slick Trick is exactly as Dan's.

There isn't another broadhead on the market that combines the flight, toughness, quality, and total cut like the Slick Trick.

I have been using the slick tricks since the 2003 season.... I am really debating buying the grizz tricks for this fall but I have around a dozen of the mag's already and feel it would be a waste not using them......

You could always shoot some concrete blocks. That might lower your inventory.

No guarantees though!;)

MeanV, A few years ago I shot a concrete block 4 times with the same 125 grain magnum and it still spun with no wobble. :DThe baldes were dull and the tip was dulled but the broadhead was still fully intact and shootable again.

That's the reason I said might!;)

The 125's especially are built like a Tank!!

This will be my 6th season shooting Slick Trick Magnums, and they are by far the best I have ever shot. I was a long time Muzzy, and Thunderhead shooter, but have never looked back since switching to ST's.
I have had many conversations with Gary, and he certainly knows his stuff in regard to broadhead design.
I would also recommend that you go with the standard Tricks at 52 lbs of KE. My wife shoots 85 grain standardTricks, and she only shoots 45lbs.

I would shoot the standards. The 1" cut 4 blade still offers a lot of tissue damage and your penetration would be greatly increased. Slick tricks Overall are one of the better replaceable/fixed blade heads on the market today.

I've shot the 100 grain regulars for two years and am either switching to the magnum's or the grizztricks this year. They look mean. I just wonder if I will be able to get them in time for the October opener.

Gary is still telling me I should have the new heads late June;)
