They are archery equipment just like the modern compound. The pros and cons of both cancel each other out imo....equal tools for the job.

I have no problem with cb,used antime of the season, here in louisiana you can,t hunt with a cb unless your handicapped or over the age of 62,my father picked up a cb when he wanted to extend his hunting season beyond guns,I know he earned his right to hunt with one and we went together alot too,he is gone now and I sure miss going to the woods with him and one day when I'm no longer able to draw a compound I sure hope my son will take me hunting with him like I did with my dad, life comes full circle you know.

What is your take on the crossbow thing ?
I have no problem with cross bows....it's just another form of archery.
Same here ..... if you want them outlawed, then outlaw compounds ..... they're more accurate
I agree

now Ill have to patrol my properties for the old Mercer Co guysALL season long and not just during 6day firearm...
what I mean is that I feel alot more of our old farts and cops will take to the woods during bow(should crossbow be used in regualr archery)...influx of hunters that usually only gun hunted.
Are you serious dude? You really want to keep "old farts" from enjoying the outdoors? You sir have some serious issues, if thats how you really feel......

Anything that keeps people interested in hunting and fishing and gives them more options to enjoy the outdoors gets a pass from me.

It sounds more likean issue of themenjoying the outdoorson HIS property, if I'm notmistaken. I think that's his point he's trying to make Dan.

Yep, I figured that out.....just trying to figure out what that has to do with keeping all the other "old farts" from enjoying their woods.

DT's problem isn't with a crossbow season, its a trespassing problem. So.....to eliminate the tresspassers eliminate the opportunityfor thousands of others to enjoy the outdoors.
