Default Christmas is here.

Yeh man, I just got my latest package of new camo from Skyline.

NOW the bad news. The dirty rascals included a new catalog with the order. All I had was an old one. Now they send this new one with all these neat new waterproof, lined, scent lok etc etc they make. Plus they have a pattern I hadn' t seen before called Xtreme which I got to have. Looks like it would work anytime but since I have a couple sets of Apparition Green I' ll use it in early season and the new Extreme when I buy it for the transition season of early fall and fall, probably work great in the spring too. It' s got a little of eveything and no way it' ll " BLOB" out. This picture is Apparition Green.

Apparition Green next to a picture of Xtreme. I was really just trying to find some way to get to 1500 posts again.

All I see is pictures of the woods. When are you gonna show us the new camo?

That is some pretty impressive camo David. I always tend to prefer ones that feature brown and green as the major components. Once my current selection looks a little more worn out I think I might have to pick some up. Do you have any good places to get them?

Pretty sweet stuff you got there. I too am going to get some new camo for next year. I am fond of realtree HD as I might pick some up. Good luck with the new catalog I know how that goes.

I bought some of their apparition several years ago before they were really well known. I liked the camo patter, but it faded REALLY BAD within a dozen washes. I always thought their camo patterns were way ahead of everybody else' s at the time but after the fading experience, I kinda lost interest. I do like the look of the apparition green though. I can' t get a picture of the extreme to come up on their website though.

Extreme is real new and I don' t think they updated their site yet. I tell you I also like their Horizon for hunting in snow. I always set my camo colors by washing with vinegar as soon as I get them. The set in this picture is a couple years old. I wash it after every use. I hunt 55 -60 days a year and probably wear App Green more than any other pattern. The quality of their garments is great with a lot of neat things like draw strings on the legs etc and big roomy pockets. It does fade maybe but I don' t think any more than my Mossy Oak or Realtree patterns have. A couple year out of a set that cost maybe $75-80 isn' t all that bad. Besides that... when it fades you get to buy some NEW.
