Default RE: What does your average, adult whitetail wiegh in your area ?

wow, I hate to put myself out there for possible target practice, but I hunt in central and S. E. Ohio. I killed a doe last year that weighed over 200 lbs. from Muskingum Co., my Dad has 2 bucks on the wall that tipped the 300 mark, both from Licking Co. I'm not saying that those were average deer by any means. . .but 140-150 for mature does, and 200-220 for mature bucks is pretty common in my part of OH.
Is that near Heavy petting Co.?

For average deer... Does around 100 and bucks around 165 (field dressed weights)

The biggest doe I've ever seen come out of oklahoma field dressed at 145.

I hunt in MN. We gut the deer in the swamp, field, woods, whatever so can't say the exact live weight. I have access to a scale and have weighed many deer.

The average dressed weight:

2.5 yr old bucks -165
3.5 ys old buck - 180
4.5 yr old buck - 195

Wehave shot 2.5 yr old bucks with nice racks that weighed 147 and a 4.5 that weighed 217 after a 3 day hang.

Most of the does we shoot are 1.5s that weigh around 100 dressed out.
