I've used Ebay for years and the negative experiences have been very few and far between. The positive far outweigh the negatives. As the others said only buy from people with positive feedback and try to communicate with them before buying to see how quickly they respond.

I've bought stuff, you should be careful and check it out first....though those scammers are good, and it can be hard to tell real from fake.....if anything smells like a rat, RUN! and don't think twice/look back.

I've bought my last two bows on Ebay. My last was my Marquis which I got for $525. So far I've saved big by buying on Ebay.

I do quite a bit on ebay... normally accessories, clothes, etc. Never anything too large.

I sell a ton of salvage snowmobile parts and Arrows/Archery Accessories. As a seller 98% of the buyers are great people, just happy to spend thier money and get a good deal, But you always have those few people... I feel that selling on eBay is getting very expensive, up to 10-12% of the sale when you use pay pal to accept payment. Buying is great at times, I have purchased broadheads cheaper than what I can buy them from the distributor, but onthe other hand I have sold Used Sled parts for as much or more than what they would sell for at the dealer?!
