This years buck and one of a ton of pictures I took of it.

Looks like in the bucks you take also. He's a nice one.
Yeah there is a little bit of a difference there isn't there. LOL

I'm proud of that first one though too. I took him from the ground at 20 feet with my old Bear Polar 2 compound.

Matt, next year I predict that the "sitting indian style" pose will sweep through HNI like the proverbial wildfire, blown by Santa Anna winds!
By then though we'll be setting new trends, such as "The Sidesaddle", or the seldom seenbecasue it's so hard to pull off tastefully.........."Semi-Reverse Spoon"

I have always tried to clean up the face of the animal, but I leave the entrance/exit wounds alone. I always want to know where someone shot their animal so I show it. However, if the guts were hanging out or it was anything more than a red hole I would do something. I am not trying to gross anyone out with the picture, just trying to paint a picture. I have always found it weird when it looks like the guy is petting the thing and it could get up and walk off whenever it wanted to. I know many think that is ideal, but it is just what I like.

This is my best field pic since I've been hunting. I just don't know how to make it bigger and still have it the right size to embed picture in post.[&o]
