My first hunting setup was a bear polar 2 from the mid 70's An early compound that had 4 wheels. I still have it as I've killed several deer with it and I'm kinda attached to it. Plus its not worth much more than memories for me.

The bow was actually way to long for me when I got it. and still is realy. My draw was right at letoff so I had to hold the weight untill I got bigger. I shot my first deer with it too.

If my memory serves me correctly, my first bow was a 1983 PSE Mach II. I killed my first 4" spike and doe with that old sledge hammer.
It was my father's then my brothers then finally to me. I think my fater said he shot 8 times at his first doe with that thing, before the doe
just surrendered dead. It sounded like two 2x4 slappin together when I shot it!
