I here a lot about elitist on the site, usually in a negative fashion, I was just wondering what an elitist is?

Someone who thinks they crap vanilla.

No matter what the status of anyone else is, it is usually someone who thinks that they are one step above and ahead of everyone else they come into contact with or talk to, no matter what your experience is or may have been they are always above you and ahead of you. Other words to describe them are...perfection beyond belief....s**t doesn't stink...and so forth.

Someone who thinks they are better than others, usually because of methods of hunting.

You know,

the trad guy who looks down on compound users.

Bowhunters who ridicule crossbow and rifle hunters.

Bowtech guys looking down on the other companies...J/K on that one fellas.

The non baiters hatin on the baiters.

Trophy buck only hunters mad about others killing small bucks.



Basically, it is someone trying to make themselves feel better about their own equipment and methods by putting down others.[:-]

Someone that thinks there way is the only way, or that they are somehow better because of something they own or do. Like because they bow hunt and don't gun hunt, or because they own an expensive trap gun and you don't, or they drive an expensive car and you don't, or they went to college and you didn't. The list can go on and on and on. Pretty much just a nice way of calling someone an ass or egotistical jerk.

That is a very funny video.

But if being against xbows for "archery only" seasons makes one an elitist,then I plead guilty.

Oh, he was against WAY more than just crossbows. Otherwise intelligent guy, but an elitist to the core.[]

However, just to keep the record straight......he WAS wrong about crossbows.
