I have stayed away from feathers because they can make a lot of noise if they rub anything.

I'd go with feathers - and use a hard helical offset. It might be interesting to fletch up a few with 4" veins and see if they shoot to the same spot - in my bow, they do. Carry one of these in your quiver just in case you get caught in the torrential downpour.

I rolled 4" feathers on my aluminums, same colors as you, and they look real sharp. The feathers also fly very well on the aluminums. If you are going old school with the arrow material (aluminum) may as well go feathers. Sorry, don't have a better reason than that!

I tried the blazers and went back to feathers but I have always shot a 3"....good luck with your decision...
