Default I just can't decide...what would you use?

I am in the process of building my hunting arras for this fall. They are XX78 Super Slam, 2512's dipped white with orange cresting and black highlights. I know I am going to use 2 white and 1 orange...but....Here's the question......

4" shield cut feathers......or 4" vanes? I know the advantages and disadvantages of each, they will both stabilize my arrow equally as well....

Here's my thinking......I'm thinking feathers. I can use fletching tape instead of glue that will eat the lacquer, and they are a tad lighter.

So, which is it. 4" vanes or feathers? If you would like to say why, I'll entertain that as well.

I'd go feathers if I never hunted in the brush or the rain, which I do so I shoot vanes, depends on your application.

Feathers, they can get all tore up and still fly perfect.

I wouldnt use anything in a 4"..4" fletching puts too much drag on the arrow and not requried to stabalize the shaft during flight.

When your equipment marriage is set-up properly, a 2" fletch is all that you need.

Blazers are great. Right now I have 3" quick spins on my Carbon Express Maxima FOC350s.
Blazers just aren't the best option for big, heavy aluminum arrows. I've shot Blazers the last 4 seasons.....and you'll notice........

It wasn't one of the options.....
