Default Diamond and BowTech

Whats the difference between the two? Why did Diamond make BowTech? Are the Diamonds of lesser quality than the BowTechs? How would a starter package of a Diamond compare to a BowTech.. how would the Marquis compare to the 101st?

Just some questions. Thanks!

One big diff. is, Diamond's are single cam while Bowtech's are Binary.

Biggest difference is as stated BowTech is binary cams and Diamond is a single cam.

The Binary cams are going to give you more speed with a stiffer draw.

The single cam is going to be slower, but a smoother draw.

If I'm not mistaken Bowtech didn't make Diamond. Bowtech bought Diamond.

As mentioned, Diamonds are single cam, Bowtech binary cam. The standard camo patterns are different, too (Diamond = gray (or grey), Bowtech = greenish). Diamonds are not of lesser quality at all. A starter package from Diamond is probably going to be a lot less expensive than Bowtech.

As far as comparing the Marquis to the 101st, let me tell a story. Shortly after I got my Marquis, the shop received the Airbornes. Naturally, I just had to shoot them both, and was instantly struck with "Airborne Envy" - primarily due to speed. Although the Marquis is very fast, the 101st is faster. But the more I shot my Marquis, while debating whether or not to get a 101st, too, the more I became attached to the Marquis. For me, personally, I can't justify the huge upcost for the Airbornes.

I wound up getting a Diamond Liberty for my "backup", and it's just as nice as the Marquis, IMO.
