My boy just turned 5 and we're a little late on his party. What I want to get him is a bow that will help solidify his interest. He already loves seeing me shoot and talks about going hunting with me all the time. Is there anything you guys can think of or is he still too little for the littlest bow? He's about 40" tall and weighs about 40lbs.

Get him a little used recurve. There's a ton of them out there and there fairly cheap.
