about 15, but really whatever gives me good angles for shooting. I almost never go higher than 15 so I can keep a flatter shot, and have hunted as low as 5 or 6 feet due to no good shooting lanes above that and still seen deer.

Well ive killed all mine except one from the ground, so i figured id throw that in there as well

0 - 23', any higher than 23 feet is a bit to much of an angle for me.

I used to stay pretty low-- about 10-12'. I had a 44" ATA bow and I found out the painful way that on a sharp downward shot, some bad string slap can occur. [:-]

Now with my dinky bow, I like to be about 16-20' up. If I mess up setting the platform of the climber, I'll be higher or lower. ;)
