Coues' Deer are tough to shoot!! Many of them will duck your arrow and be 10' down the trail before your arrow hits the ground.

Not surprised to see that nobody has mentioned Giraffe. Giraffes have incredibly huge shoulder blades, and you're shooting angle is rarely optimal. On top of all of that, their skin (not fat included, just the skin) is over 1" thick! In order for a bowhunter to be successful he should be even-height with the base of the neck and look for a head on shot. If you were to imagine a triangle connecting the base of the neck and the top of the two front legs, your bullseye would be dead center of that triangle. Huge animal, very small window of opportunity.

Hmmm... and strictly based on my experience while spot and stalking.
Commonly hunted species by contintent:
Africa... 1) Zebra, despite the fact they are the default animal (you see them everywhere), zebra are extremely difficult to spot and stalk. 2) Steenbok are extremely hard to hit because they never stand still.3) Gemsbok, these critter can take a hit! I've been around rhinos and giraffes...piece of cake. I look forward to cape buffalo. From what I've seen, this could be extremely challenging w/ a bow.
North America...1) Cougar 2) Couse deer 3) White-tailed deer 4) Desert mulies
South America ...1) Cougar 2)Blackbuck 3) Brocket deer
South Pacific...1) Chamois 2) Tahr 3) Sambar
Personally, I do not feel there are any game species that cannot be taking with a bow.

Congrats on all the success, sir.
Your attitude toward hunting, from what I've seen, virtually unmatched.

iamyourhuckleberry;
Based on your experience did you ever do a spot and stalk on a giraffe not from a vehicle? Or did you take one with an arrow? I'll agree that a zebra is a very difficult to do a spot and stalk hunt on. Not only that, but they are an extremely rigid animal. But the anatomy of a giraffe makes it very difficult to place an arrow into the vitals.
