Default The commander is in but......

Well I arrived home yesterday from South America and the 07' commanderI bought from Ben is here. I went to the bow shop last night and had the peep moved andevery thing set up for me. I got up this morning did a little mowing outside around my barn where my range is and got to shoot the commander. I have never shot a bow that is as quiet and smooth as this one. The first couple times I shot it, it scared me becauseIcouldn't feel anyvibration in my hand and then I got worried because it didn't feel like it was shooting the arrow that fast. When the guy finished the bow last night I shot it throughthe chrono and was simply amazed, this bow was shooting my hunting arrow at 310fps, needless to say that worry went away rather quickly..... Back to this morning, I got the rangemowed and started shooting, litterally stacking arrows with just a few adjustments to the newsights. This bow rocks!!!!!! I do however havea question for you guys after shooting it for just a little while. It isabout 1/2" long for me and the guy at the bowshop is gone till Tuesday nighthunting, soI need you guys to tell me what options I have for shortening the draw 1/2", I can't wait till the guy gets back from hunting as I am leaving Wednesday morning going to our ranch to try this dude out on some exotics and hogs.Help me out here,I don't want to haveshoot the Maverick now that this bad boy is here.

ONly option you got is to buy another module to change 1/2". Usually most bowtech shops will have a changeout policy of 10-15 trade in. I had to drive like 1 hour north to find the right module.

Thats pretty fast. I have a 07 command and shoot a 360 arrow at 300fps with 29.5" draw and a 440gr arrow at 275fps.

Congrats on your Commander. I got to shoot the bow in question while shooting with Ben. You got a good deal on a great bow. Like was said above, have a dealer get you the correct draw length mods.

Glad its working for ya Curt. If it wasn't for the going southpaw thing, that bow would have stayed with me for a long time, its a real shooter. I wish you the best of luck with it and I expect a report on all it kills.
