I love these two bows. I would take either if I could. I personally would probably get the black Ice for myself. I like the shorter axle to axle length. I do a lot of walking to get to my stands so that is important to me. They both are absolutely beautiful bows though.

Im a little concerned about the loss of KE i will deal with though. I will shoot somewhere around 58-59# of KE with the Ice. Compared to 73# KE right now with the X force. should I be comncerned? Is 58 # of KE good enough???

Va, I have the Black Ice and it will be easier to handle more poundage than the XForce because it is very smooth and 80% letoff. I shoot 69lbs and it is like butter. My KE is pretty goodI think.

I would look a the Marquis if you are looking for of KE. I shoot 402 grain arrow at 270 fps @ 28" draw at 60 lbs I get 65 lb of KE! And 75% let off. Lets say I would shoot the same setup as LKNCHOPPERS I would get around 295 FPS and 77.7 LB of KE!! This bow is very smooth drawing Plus I like the length of the Marquis 34 1/2 in ATA. And it has a nice BH.

EDIT: LKNCHOPPERS you are getting 70 lb of KE with your setup.

I thought I read in a previous post that you ironed everything out with the X-Force and loved it. Are you getting rid of the X, and why? I was just curious because I had an X-Force very briefly, but couldn't get used to the lack of valley on the bow. So I traded it in on a different bow.

the X Force is just too harsh, I can't get into it anymore. I have been set up for a 26" draw, but im not too sure that's correct, if I measure my wing span from middle finger tip to tip across the back and divide by 2.5 will this give the most accurate measurement??
