Default The fall of the American dollar vs. spending on hunting trips!

Anyone feel like they are seeing alot more reasonable hunting trips out there?? I noticed alot of cancellation hunts on Cabelas site, and many other sites.. I noticed quite a few Canadian outfits demanding payment in canadian funds.. I guess if and when the dollar goes up they will want american money again.. Could this fall of the dollar mean more reasonable hunting opportunities tous die hard hunters... I can't speake for everyone but I am reaching for extra scratch that I don't have to get some rips done this year...

I know that hunts in Canada are going up because of the Canadian dollar being worth more than US[:@]

I haven't seen anything that would make me think hunting costs are dropping. Neither of the outfitters I am going with this year went down. In fact, they did the opposite.

I could be wrong, but I would suspect that the fall of the Dollar's value would only serve to INCREASE the cost of hunting trips, rather thanmake for better deals.

I found out the $1200 deposit i put down on a Canadian deer hunt was only worth $975 toward the price of the hunt.(exchange rate was bad when i sent the deposit) Been saving over a year for this hunt. Now i gotta save more.
They did say they will take the exchange rate at the time of my hunt versus the exchange rate when i sent the deposit.
As long as the hunt goes well, i dont mind.
One piece of advice i did get was to watch the exchange rates. If the American dollar does get backabove the Canadian dollar, go to your bank and buy enough for your hunt.
