Your last buck: Food Source / Travel Route / Bedding area?
Just to kinda follow up on the "Timing" poll results, here's a little more simple data collection that somebody might find useful:
Your last archery buck - did you shoot him in a food source, funnel/transition/travel area, or in a bedding area?
Why is this poll not a waste of your time: This surveyshould tell us a little bit about where we should be hunting at various times throughout the season. The poll from last week has clearly showed us "when" we should be out there. Keying off of those timing results - and using the important relevant dates - I think we might be able toget a ballpark ideawhere you stand your best chance at arrowing a buck at any given time.

Shot him in the morning, in a travel corridor just on the edge of aprotected sanctuary that I never touch or go into other than a quick walk through in February looking for sheds. My last 2 bucks came from the same stand, on the same day of the year, within 1/2 an hour of each other.

Shot my buck while he was feeding in a white oak stand that borders a staging area. He was headed towards the staging area and more than likely would have headed from there to a large corn/clover field at dark.

Jeff - we'll go ahead and call a "staging area" a travel corridor - just by virtue of it not falling into the other 2 categories
Also - I hope I didn't screw up the poll too badly, but I changed the dates a little bit - to more accurately mirror the results of the "Timing" poll.

Killed in the morning on 11/6 in a staging area/travel corridor. If I had to guess.....he had come home early and was lying in wait for the does to come home. When they did......he came out to greet 'em.
