Vabowman got me thinking
#11
I didn't weigh it, but I was on a "please shoot the damn deer" hunt in SE VA.... I was 16 years old. I carried the deer out in the game bag of my bird hunting coat and all of the meat (minus bones) fit into an aluminum roasting pan like the ones used at catered events to hold BBQ and beans and such. I remember walking into camp with it slung over my shoulder like a sack of potatoes. Held by the feet over my shoulder, the head didn't come to my waist. A reasonable guess.... 38# live weight.
