I grew in the "HOOD", not a very good environment but we moved when I was about 14 to a location in the country - I had seven miles of protected lands to fish on every day and I know live in semi-country but want to be farther out

Grew up in a small coal mining town in southern WV. Everybody was poor, but we never knew it. Hard work and Hard times was the norm. Lay-offs, union strikes, mining related deaths were normal/expected. I alwas thought I would end up working in the mine. Dad made sure I went to school so I would not have to "work" like he did. I graduated from Marshall University in 1996 and found a career in finance.I have been in the banking industry since 1999.

Lived in a small city for 8 years and in Lexington KY for 5 and moved back to my home townlast year when we found out Dad had cancer. Moving back to raise my daughter in my hometown was the best decision I have ever made. I just wish I would have done it 5 years ago.

Whats better about the winters out there? The snowboarding and stuff like that?
Snowboarding and the mild winters. The only down fall is that there are no whitetales out there.

I grew up in the suburbs of Pittsburgh, PA. Going one direction I could be on a farm within 10 minutes of my house, going the other I could be in some nasty urban setting nobody would want to be in. Fortunately for me I seemed to find myself heading toward the farms more often than heading toward the city. My grandpap got me initially involved in the outdoors as he would always take us grandkids fishing. My dad was much more of an avid hunter when I was younger than he is now or even when my younger brother was growing up. He would take me out hunting with him when I was old enough and I was hooked. Since then I've hunted in central PA while in college, the southeast when I lived in Florida, and now I reside in the suburbs of Philly. I still find myself heading away from the city more often than toward it, and I still don't see that as a bad thing.

Cant say farm but cant say city either. Grew up in a little hick town called Orange Tx. Pop of the county 36,000 but spent alot of time hunting and fishing just about as long as i can remeber Dad work for E.I Dupont chemical plant he worked there since 1980 as a plant process operator makes awesome money for the area rich no.My dad always saved and spent money wisely and know the kids are gone can afford anything he wants but still saves money and invest and spend wisely. I would love to see my dad get a brand new truck but he wont and never will he will buy used until the day he dies and pay cash for everything he buys. I try to live by his ways but I have to give it to my old man thats sometimes hard. You see something you want know you could get credit for it and pay it off but wont until you have the cash. I got a loan for my guardian just paid it off today.
