2 3/4" ? I thought rage's 2" were already plenty big if not too big, bigger isn't always better, eventually too big will hit bone more often, ie going through the rib cage.......if they hit straight up and down no worries but horizontally then both sides will in bone, you do want penetration not just huge cutting cross section. I think the rage are suppose to collapse if they hit bone......i dont know if they rexpand though then. So bigger isnt always better IMO, and rage got there first I'm assuming with open on impact design, if not they certainly marketed them better than whoever got out just ahead of them. I'm also a muzzy guy but think I'll be switching to rage's this season.
