I know darn well it's antlers.
Horns are permanent, they cannot be shed.
So when walking up to, or spottinga trophybuck....The first thought that comes to mind is..
DAMN LOOK AT THOSE HORNS!

In Texas, if you say "antlers" everyone kindabacks away from you, thinking you're not quite right or they getthe "You ain't from around here, are ya boy?" syndrome. Nobody uses a two syllable word when a one syllable word gets the meaning across.

Horns never fall off, antlers do. So all bucks have antlers.
So anyone who says "horns" are technically wrong, but we all know what your talking about so does it really matter.

I usually say antlers, but it doesn't bother me when someone say horns, and if they say it I'll refer to them as horns as well. It cracks me up how some guys get so fired up over the issue. You really need to lighten up if this bothers you that bad.
