I pretty much always say antlers. It catches by surprise when someone calls them horns.

I usually say antlers, but it doesn't bother me when someone say horns, and if they say it I'll refer to them as horns as well. It cracks me up how some guys get so fired up over the issue. You really need to lighten up if this bothers you that bad.

The poll needs another choice of "Whatever...who cares." That would have been my vote.

I call them what ever comes to mind .I dont put much thought to it . Its kinda like calling the engine in your truck a motor. yet every body knows what your talking about .

We all know they're antlers and not really horns but I use either. Do we really need to get hung up on such an insignificant technicalitywith all of the other issues we face as hunters?

I think its situational. You don't hear many people say "Ok I'm gonna touch the antlers a bit" in reference to rattling. Then again you dont say "I'm going out to look for shed horns" either. I use them both, along with rack and headgear

I say horns or rack. Antlers justs sounds weird. I dont ever hear many hunters around here call them antlers, it takes me by surprise. Antlers is kind of a ***** word to say anyway...
