Im stunned to find out i can by my choice of bow at my choice retailer. what a bummer..

You will find that most high end or "better equipment" will not be available from catalog companies and only Pro Shops. I would sujest that you buy your equipment from a pro shop unless you have no other choice. I cant tell you the number of times I have had guys come in to the shop I used to work in with the wrong or miss matched equipment bought from a catalog because they thought they were saving money. Your actually denying yourself professional help getting set up on your new bow (unless you are an expert). The $25 you save may actually cost you $100 by the time you take the bow someplace to help you set it up and repurchase the proper equipment and pay for the professional help that would of been free with the bow you purchaced there. I am confused. Your title stated "Cabelas= No more Hoyt". That would imply that Cabelas did sell Hoyt at one point. Did they? Not in their mail order catalogs....

....but maybe in their retail stores?

I honestly don't know.

Did Cabelas ever sell Hoyt products in their stores?

Not all of us have a Cabelas store to go to so we don't know that answer. They do not carry them in their catalogs and never have.

PS Ticking off the moderators in your 12th post to this board is probably not a good start to your posting career.

Cabelas sold Hoyt through their retail stores, no mail order. Whether this has changed or not I don't know, I do know they they're (were)listed as a dealer on Hoyts web site.

I not only couldn't understand your first post, I couldn't figure out your second one. Spelling and grammer have little to do with typing. You can backspace and correct any mistakes before posting, however, communication skills are another story.

Dusty9, a little testy are we or do you just dislike authority figures in general. These boards are the best on the web today thanks to moderators like PABowhntr and disrespecting him for simply trying to understand your question with a question won't get you many friends here as a newbie. He simply was asking for his own behalf and if you would be polite and answer his simple question perhaps you could be the teacher rather than a..well lets just leave it at that.

I was just at Cabelas yesterday in Dundee, MI and they didn't have any Hoyt bows. i was alittle disappointed cause i was told that they did but oh well i'm sure some one around here sells them

There are only two seasons in a year: Hunting season and waiting for hunting season.

I got my hoyt at the Owatonna MN store this fall. I was just up there a couple weeks ago and they still had them on their shelf.
