I couldn't get the Meanv cuz he said he didn't have oneto fit my PSE 6" brace. He was honest from the start and didn't try to sell me something else, he just said what he had and told me to shop around. I bought a Norway string tamer and it works fine. I have not heard any bad complaints about a Meanv or about Dan himself. I have bought a few things from him and it was a pleasure doing business with him and I will keep going to him for things I can't get around here. I highly recomend any of you to look him up if you are having trouble finding help.

Just recieved my "Hoyt Specific" STS. I must say that I am very dissapointed with how the mounting block was machined. On the side of the riser that the mounting block mounts to, there is a triangle shaped depresion, and while the is a coresponding shaped nub on the end of the mounting block, the block does not fit beacause the block seems to have been machined about 90 degrees off. I was able to fix this with my trusty Dremel tool, but for $60 bucks, it should fit better.

I had a Mean V on my last bow that I sold and when the new one comes in, the first thing I will do is measure for Dan to make me another one. I won't have a bow without one. I will also be buying one as a present for a buddy of mine. Great product, great price, great service.

I replaced my STS with the MeanV and could not be happier. It looks better and performs better. Thanks Dan.

I didn't know it was the "dipping" that did all the suppressing.....thanks for enlightening me.

Seriously.....some folks aren't all "hung up" on matching camo and for them there is a far cheaper way to make the same thing. I was just showing how you can build your own for far less money.

No doubt both of these products are high quality components and both will do the job their supposed to do.....camo dipping or not.

I guess I find it amazing that guys will spend 800.00 plus for a bow then load it up with "cheaper" accessories. No doubt your suppressor the MeanV and String Tamer ect.. do the job their are intended to do. I'm sure some guys will take this post as helpful and some will take it as a jab at another member.
