RE: what rest to get?
Trophy taker shakey hunter is simple and robust...used it for last 3 years. I have also used a QAD rest, which I would recommend. My son uses a biscuit, works for him. I think the drop aways are more forgiving and more consistently accurate...but you have to set them up right.

If you decide to go with a biskit, I suggest blazers with a dab of glue on the front of the vane, or a dab of glue on the front of any vane.

It really depends on what type of rest you are looking for. Full containment the Hostage, and Hostage Pro are both very good choices. For Drop aways a Limb Driver is really hard to beat.

I've used a WB for years and really like it. It is a very solid and dependable rest. I decided to try a QAD Hunter rest ($50) and fell in love with it. It is now the rest on my primary bow. My backup bow now sports the WB. I would recommend either of these two rests. I also prefer the full containment rests.

I also just went from a bisquit to a QAD ultra HD. I wanted to gain some accuracy for league. I like the QAD, but I'm not sure its "getting out of the way" quick enough. I noticed at league last week that there are some white marks from my fletching on it.
If you mainly use your bow for hunting, I would recommend the bisuit. If your looking for a target rest get a drop away of some sort.
