ok..I am with MAX'D OUT TV...a production company about youth and we got this email today

"Your hunting site is an abomination. You shpw bowhunting which is banned in most of Europe as it rarely kills clean and quick. In fact it is estimated that arrows only have an 11% clean kill rate!

This means that you approve of hunting methods that cause unecessary suffering to living animals! They die in agony. I work in animal management and we find dying deer all the time with arrows embedded in them still wandering around days after being shot.

Bowhunting is the preferred method of unethical hunters , trailer trash american youths , unskilled shots and the brutal sadistic trophy hunters.

I am monitoring your site and if i see any images that depict anythong that is illegal i WILL report it on the FBI internet crimes website!

I would suggest that Mr. Donnell take the opportunity to express his views very plainly and openly while he has the freedom to do so. Aterall, it is America. Then suggest that he can politely remove himself from our free society to live in his beloved Europe and remember all the greatfreedom's he left behind.

Truthfully, I'd ignore him and block all future emails. He's obviously too ridiculous to engage in open discussion. You keep taking those Southern IL kids into the Shawnee so that they'll stay out of trouble.

Even if your doing everything legal i would still get an lawery involved. You can never be to safe when dealing with these type of people.

You can tell by the email that they do not have valid facts and emailing them back with the real facts would be a waste of time. They are brain washedby PETA.

Also thatis there opinion and me and u have ours.Just wait and if they slip and threaten u in the lest i would turn the table on them and report them. Good luck and please keep me posted.

Wow that's messed up. I cant belive people think that way.... Since the begining of man, theres been the bow. most of the human race would probably not be here if not for the bow.. I would rather eat a deer that I havested with my bow myself, than eat a cow that had been pumped full of growth hormones and slaughtered......... The deer is 100% natural, god given FOOD put here for us to harvest and consume.....It sucks we have to breath the same air as someone that wants to take away our "way of life"......man now I am pissed...[:@]

I would not waste any time with this jerk. He is, more than likely, not even who he (or she)claimes he is. Even if he is, as long as we contine to conduct ourselves within the (United States Law) there is nothing that can be done.

It's an automated email I assume. We, as bowhunters, need to do our best to both ignore this kind of rhetoric and simultaniously prove those who don't understand us wrong. We must ONLY take ethical shots, steward all animal species, and in actuality; do what we are already are doing. Keep it up everyone. If it is really if true that the ethical kil rate is only 11% we need to do everything we can do to increase that to 100%. Good hunting.

first thing DO NOT REPLY to his email. It is probably a blast/auto-email and if you reply they know they found a legit email address.

forward it to your ISP, it is harrassment they can then block his domain so you, and others they serve will not get his junk.

He can report you for internet abuse all he wnats, you are not breaking any internet laws.

Best advice you can get right there. Guys like that get under your skin, but that is they're ultimate goal really. There is nothing else he can do about it, so just ignore him. If he continues to harrass you have the option to report it, but as mentioned it sounds like he is European so there isn't much you can do.

I love the thought process here!!! I would ignore this guy. He really is not worth your time. 11% clean kill rate, how did he come up with that???? You are not doing anything illegal, don't worry about and keep doing what you are doing. By changing what you are doing in any way would be a victory for this horses behind.

I did a search for this organization and this guy, and came up with absolutely nothing. So my guess its one person just blowing smoke. But It would be a good idea to just look into your states hunter harrassment laws and to maybe just consult with a lawyer.

Guys, c'mon...hunter harrassment laws protect you while you are hunting, not while you sit on your pc reading emails.

Forget the talk about a lawyer. Forget finding this guy (you don't need to work for the gov't to track down an IP address). Forget responding. Trust me, this won't be anywhere near the first anti email you get. Get used to them and just hit delete. We (Aim Low) get many of these type emails. Sometimes we get some that are anti, but yetcivil, and ask questions. We do respectfully answer those with our prespective on things, but only once.

Well the way I see it is that if he feels so strongly about that. Well the same trailer trash american youth is protecting him to live in the united states. If he does. I also would say that he doesnt have the balls to stand up forhis country and defend freedom and democracy around the world.

Chase, like others have said ignore the email. I asked if it was the original because of the grammar and spelling or lack thereof. Both incorrect and on a grade school level. Had it come from anyone or any organization that was legitimate both it would have been correct.

Whomever sent the email has proven their lack of intelligence by the grammar skills. Not worth wasting your time arguing or entertaining someone of slight intellect.
