I use them for years when I shot bows that would "Jump out of ones hands" with the shot, since I got my Mathews I quit using a handle strap and a stabilizer with no noticeable effect in accuracy or change in form....

I use one just cuz..Dunno why. It's fashion-able!

Tony be sure that baby is L_O_O_S_E on your wrist it can cause torquing issues if even slightly tight.

I've never known any different.....just always used one.

I guess it feels a little more secure in my hand (with the strap) on several levels.

Bob I think you may have just help me big time. I have been having a torking issue and last season thought it was the peaking syndrome. I remember tightening that strap up about a year ago because I was barehanded then switched back to gloves and never made the adjustment. You are the man, Thanks much.
Remember when the release came off the dloop and smack me right in the lip too. sob

Jeff try it once without and let me know your thoughts? I am curious with these speed bows.thx

I dunno, Tony......I "think" it would make me wanna grip the handle when I drew the bow if I didn't have that strap on there. I could be wrong.

Let's put it this way......it's never cost me a shot opportunity....it's light....and I wear light gloves all season long. Not an issue, for me. Also......from stand I can let the bow kinda hang from my arm......in lieu of me having to keep a grip on the handle/grip to keep from dropping it. I've had deer all around me before.....and not been able to put my bowdownor on a hook for several minutes. In these instancesI just leave my release attached and rest the lower cam on my leg. I suppose the strap gives me a sense of security that it wouldn't fall......even if my release went off.

It's just a non-issue. I'm keeping it.:)
