I use a rattle bag. No reason other than it was all the store had at the time. Id like to find a couple of sheds and make a set out of but i havnt had the chance.

I haven't tried it yet but I bet it would be exciting to call in a big bruiser with them!

I use real antlers. There is nothing that compares to the sound. The rattle bag, fake antlers, they don't cut it for me with there sounds.

Real Horns - I am not a great rattler, but i think i get the most realistic sound with the bone.

Quit carrying real horns and switched to a bag for ease of packing.

I've used both succesfully. I use the rattle bag the most because its easy to carry and I don't have antlers for someone to shoot at.

The first buck I ever called in was with a rattle bag. Came in to 5 yards. Much to my unprepared suprize. I had to watch him walk. I was on the ground too. I get prepared when I rattle now. LOL

I use a set of 130" real Antlers from a Buck a killed a few years back. It really is hard to beat the sound of real Antlers.

I use a small set of old antlers off an 8 point that I found along the road!
