I'm getting into 3D and field target ( as practice for my Bowhunt ) , what brand andtype arrows do you use .
Do you use the same type of arrows for hunting ?

I have for many years used the same arrows I hunt with for competitive 3D but of course ACC's can be the best for both. I've also shot the same aluminum arrows for 3D that I then used for hunting. I may however change head weight, say from nibbs to 100 grain tips.
There's no reason why you cannot hunt with the same arrows you shoot 3D with depending.
I'd also recommend you do just that, what better way to prepare for your first bowhunt than to shoot your hunting setup for all your 3D and field archery needs.

For field archery I would suggest a skinny arrow as the longer distances that are shot you will have less wind drift.
Fat arrows are ok for 3d specially if you are only going to shoot out to 35/40 yards.
Get the best arrow you can afford, the 2 best arrows out there for field are expensive at around $350 per dozen and thats just the bare shaft
The Gold Tip Ultra light Pro's are hard to beat price wise and are 0.001 in straightness and +/- 1 gr in weight tolerance

Agreed and I also responded with acc's in your thread in the target forum.
The best arrow for field also have points that cost about 30 bucks a piece.[
