Default Hoyt KATERA ad...

Any of you guys looked seriously at HOYT KATERA ad??? Two thing in it really surprised me

1......Beforeany of our limbdesigns are approved, they must withstand a minimum of 1,000 dry-fires at 80lbs. and a 30" draw.
and

Before any of our TEC riser designs are approvedm they must withstand a minimum 1500 dry-fire torture test performed at 80 pounds and 30" draw.
That info blows me away. If that is the case though, I'd think they extend their lifetime warranty to 2nd and 3rd owners, etc.

They have beendoing these testssince the 2006Trykon.I believe there claims there bows are very well made.Extending the warranty to other owners is just to hard to keep track of.

Ive seen this, kind of hard to believe that any bow could withstand such tests. I dont think they would lie about it though.

It'll make me feel better if I ever dry fire mine at 68# just once, lol.

If you look at the bow industry objectively, Bowtech has probably advanced the technology of the compound bow more than most other companies. I think this has led directly to their success....IMHO...
