Because that is a myth and so not true. Aaron, you've been around these boards long enough to not believe that. A spike could be the next world record or a trophy P&Y if given the chance to grow.

Of course there are different levels of spikes, a spike could be a late born first year deer or a genetic flawed 2.5 year old. You need to know the difference before determining what to do with said deer.
Absolutely True!! Don't kill a Spike because you think you are doing the Deer herd some great service.
