Lee and Tiffany
 

I had the pleasure of meeting Lee and Tiffany Lakosky for the first time last weekend at the Iowa Deer Classic. For those of you who havent met them they are great people. I got to shoot the breeze with Lee for a few minutes, which was very cool. It was great meeting them but weird at the same time. I was deffinetly pleasantly suprised at their down home, super friendly, good old boy attitudes. I think anyone who critisizes them should hold off on doing so until they actualy meet them and talk to them. I just thought it was really cool and I wanted to share with all of ya'll.

Mine to, but Ive heard some people on here criticize them saying things like how they hunt on their own ground it might as well be a peting zoo.

if i had MY OWN ground id hunt it non stop too. instead i hunt farms that we lease, farms in the family, friends farms, stuff like that. we dont own any property yet. were lookin though:D

They are both good bowhunters but I would pay big "bucks" to see Lee without his ball cap. Maybe he's bald like me or just needs it likea toupe.....

Maybe he just likes hats.;) Tiff and those big ol' bucks don't seem to mind.

Some people you can just tell are fakers, some just seem very genuine. Folks like Lee and Tiffany, Michael Waddel, the Primos boys, and that Michael Hunsucker all seem like genuine superstars to me.

Folks that make comments like that don't criticize because they have spotted something wrong or right... they are just jealous. And rightfully so... I'd love to be able to get paid to hunt with my wife! They have a great job, and they do it very well. Good stewards of the sport.

My daughter loves watching Tiffany. I have said this before, besides everything else, Tiffany is great for showing young girls what is possible. I definitely appreciate the good influence she has on my daughter.

With all the really poor role models for young girls I am glad to see Tiffany out there at least being a decent one (from what I have seen) for them.

The only thing I have heard negative about them is that Lee is too lucky.... LOL

Seriously I like thier shows they seem down to earth and that makes a big difference to me.



Case in point. I saw a show the other day a guy was muzzle loader hunting and too a moving shot at a nice buck. The camera was right on the deer but the scene cut away when he fired to show a closup of him shooting. Then back to the deer running away. Then all you heard was the shot was perfect. Long story short they waited hours before trailing (I give them credit here) then a LONG trail before finding the deer and you never see where it was hit. That was a poor hit an they covered it up.

Now I have seen poor hits on other shows and they admit it and even show the right way deal with things. It happens we know it just show what happened.

I lot of people in the spot light take slurs from those who are jealous. I've met a few of what most people would call celebs in the Hunting world and most of them have been genuine. Fred Bear was one of the nicest most sincere persons I ever met and there have been others who seemed top notch as well. Are there some jerks? Well they are just people and where there is a group of people you'll always find at least one jerk or 2[8D]

A friend of mine guides people pheasant hunting in the Dakota's and he guided the hunting clan that these guys all consist of. He told me she was as ornery/whiny/uppity as you could get. He said they couldn't do anything right for her, her mother or Lee. They no longer guide for them, couldn't take the nose up in the air stuff.

I get a kick out of Huntley Ritter. I would think he is about as cool and down to earth as you can get.

I met them at Nashville at the NWTF national calling contest, they were really cool, signing evryone's autograph that wanted one. I think they are a class act. But......

I have a hot wife, but she doesn't do anything with hunting. Having a hot wife isn't all that's cracked up to be. Everyone looks at her, checks her butt, boobs out etc. She gets tired of it. I get sick of guys hitting on her, job offers, you name it. Go to the beach once, jeez. I love her, it helps she's cute.

Lee & Tiffanyboth seem nice & I do make it a point to watch there show. They both put plenty of timeinto there food plots & hanging stands. They alwaysshoot big bucks.

They are super nice people as most of Iowans' are. The sad thing though is that when you go by their booth and only Lee is there, there is only a guy or two standing there talking to him. Then when Tiff is there, there is a mob. He is the guy that hangs the stands, has the hunting knowledge, does the scouting, etc. She climbs into the pre hung, pre scouted site, shoots the animal, poses with the dead critter and the crowd goes wild. Lee is the reason fror the success and he getsno glory. Amazing what power a a woman has in the world. Their doors are always open and they never have to buy a beer in a bar.[:@] At least we get to pee standing up.:D

Thats no different that alot of celebs, they go to a outfitter and the scouting and stand hanging are already done for them but they shoot the deer. It still takes skill to shoot, it may take more to get to that point but for anyone specialy awoman to keep her sh*t together when a booner is standing there is impressive.

Still havehunting as a business for the taxman. See what happens if we can get out and film this year; our schedules are crazy and we will have to see. We are so busy with me still owning and running a business in IA four months out of the year and a damn house we have there that needs to be put on the market for sale or rented out. That and our 5 year old is a handful and no parents living in NM to watch him so we can hunt together. I will probably be doing 90% of the hunting this year in our relationship and no one wants to see a guy hunt, so the camera won't be rolling until we can get some babysitting contacts so she can get out with me. Chics hunting is where it's at and until she gets her time freed up, it isn't in the ballgame, although she is applying for quite a few species of big game tags this year and we are as of now planning on a CO elk bowhunt near Durango. Now she wants to get back into modeling and that will consume her time if she pursues that. She modeled for several years in high school and I think she should get back into it. Age sometimes does no good to a woman, but my wife is hotter than ever.She loves the camera.

Dont get me wrong, my wife shot a great buck back in january. I was super impressed that she kept her stuff together and made the shot. I got to watch the whole thing and was about to come unglued. Its nothing against women, its flat out hard to keep your act together when you have a big deer in front of you. Im just really impressed with the women hunters out there who bag big deer regardless if they have as much knowledge of the sport as the guys.

I have a gorgeous wife with a fantastic personality. Everyone loves her and I'm actually glad she doesn't hunt. I like to do my thing and she has a warm meal when I return home.

Besides, I'd never use her like so many men do to try to get ahead in the industry. Lee and Tiff are great people and kudos for their success but Lee wouldn't be where he is without her, they know where their bread is buttered.

My wife cooks better than any woman I've ever been around including my Mother[:-]She has a great personality, and is good at everything she attempts to do. O Yeah She shoots and hunts with too, but just not as Diehard as I am;)
