For the record,

I've just returned from England and Scotland. I was there deer hunting. Ok. I wasculling deer. I shot a chinese water deer (doe), two reeves muntjac (both bucks), two roe deer (both does), and five red deer. Each and every one was taken to a "game processor" which was licensed by the "crown" to sell game meat to the public. The "game stalker", I hunted with, was paid for the deer brought in. He, in turn, paid the "games keepers" on the estates where we hunted. None of the meat went to waste. It went from the field directly to the game processor. How does that make mean idiot?

I agree with Kodiakarcher, davidmil, and many others. Trophy hunting and meat hunting can be one in the same. On the above mentioned hunt, I killedten "trophies"-none of which ever made it back into the United States (it is illegal to bring meat and/or raw animal by productsfrom another country into the US). I'd also mention not a single animals possess antlers of any great size (Muntjac had tiny antlers. They were a far cry from being monsters). The red deer were entirely calves-the first thingthe "games keepers"required usto shoot. I was not there for a big head. I guess I'mone of thoseidiot.

I did wack away at four red fox (I missed a fifth after pulling off a brilliant 370 yard shot). The carasses were tossed into a ditch. The poultry/pheasant farmer was gracious. He asked us to return the following night. We couldn't. Instead we went to the pub. We were English, Scottish, and American drunken idiots!

I did not see anyone wearing a kilt. Althought, I had thoughts of giving it a go myself. I kept thinking "what do these bloks do to keep the bugs from biting their nads?". They are a hardy bunch! In the end, I passed (nope, not man enough).

Emily and Sarah.........nice cat fight. Emily won! That's all I have to say about that.
Hey, I can tell you I aint no cat fighter, I use my fists I have been practicing kickboxing for 5 years. I think alot of youDONT understand the concept that it was meant to be a wind up (dont get much of that there?). I am not stupid you know, I know about game laws and I know you cannot take meat home to the US I work in an airport and have to know the regulations for my job.

There are pleanty of people here who trophy hunt and all over the world. feh. Lighten up people! We all know that you cannot eat a whole stag in 1 week of hunting, c'mon for Gods sake.

There is no winner at all as it wasn't an argument in the first place. Check out the white stag thread and i'll show you a REAL argument.

Nobody messes with a Scotswoman especially one that is 1st Dan in Kendo and has been practicing kickboxing for 5 years, my dad was semi pro.

Weeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Are you a professional cyber kick boxer? If not I'm sure not too many people are impressed with your self-proclaimed toughness. I'm just saying, it sounds ridiculous, funny, but ridiculous nonetheless. Andis the Scotswoman part suppose to send an extra shiver of intimidation down peoples spines. I've never heard anyone say yeah those Scottish woman are crazy tough let's call them the Fighting Scots, (no wait the Irish already have something likethat). Hows about "Bagpipes and Barfights" (that would be a great video) or "Killer Kilts-Unleashed" or my personal favorite "White Stag Women"-MSNBC Lock Up edition(profiles the nortorious womens prison gang in Scotland).

As far as the argument in this thread, what would have been refreshing would have been if you replied early on"Youknow maybemy postscame off wrong, my fault". Insteadwe were witness to the 2008 Special Olympics Backpedaling Championships (for the record, you won.....by alongshot)followed by the old "Oh I was just winding you guys up explanation and you guys don't get the concept". Sure, whatever you say. Now we get the I don't do catfights or arguments, I'm a bad ass Scotswoman I fight with brass knuckles and barbwire and blah blah blah blah blah. ZZZZZZZZ...ZZZZZZZZ....ZZZZZZZZZ. Wake me up when you are not full of fertilizer. That you don't even recognize that.....

#1-You were in an argument and
#2-You got owned...... is classic.

Pride sure can be a double edged sword.

Anywho, not trying to be a jerk(not so sincere disclaimer) just calling it like I see it. With love from the USA.
Best post I've read in a long time! Bagpipes and Bar Fights...... priceless!

Thanks for the laughs!! Respect.

BTW, I'm betting that she'll be back.

Please just delete this, im not even going to make the effort anymore. You've made up your minds anyway.

My mother has food poisoning and im worried about her. If you guys dont like me then just tell me lets not beat around the bush because I feel I have done nothing wrong but tried to catch you guys out. OK some may have not understood me I agree that not everyone has a sense of humour.

Im just going to leave this as it is, I am not aggressive but I dont like to be bashed either, especially when I didn't mean it.

I have to go.
Don't takeme too seriously RG, I was just trying to wind you up a bit.

I hope your mother is doing better.

I consider myself a hunter that is after trophies. I am not out in the woods to shoot any deer. I spot a deer in the early season, on a proeprty and I will stick to that property and hunt that deer.

I do shoot doe, and alot of them, and I enjoy it.

But, for racks, I am not out to shoot the first buck that crosses my path. I'd rather let the young bucks go and target 4.5yo deer.
I consider myselfa watcher of Trophies these days

Sarah,

I think you and your Scots are special! For a small country, your valued input is always welcome. IMO, It is always good for us (Americans) to hear the voice and concerns of outsiders. How else can we police ourselvesinternationally? Despite what everyone thinks, we are all in this together. I know I will do my part...the image of hunters world wideis extremely import to me!On the other hand, I implore you to get to know us. Don't be so quick to judge...We do care...enough said.

Myprayers go out to your mother. I hope she feels better in the morning.

Hey ya'll,

Let's give Oakcreek his thread back...

Oh God, does that mean I have to start listening to the French too?[&:][&:]

I don't think there really is a Remington Girl. I think it's McAwful in drag, you know, wearing his skirt. Has anyone seen a picture or anything of this mystery woman that feels a need to point out all our faults(as she perceives them) but can't keep herself from coming to America on the internet for entertainment. If we're so confused and so terrible I think I'd go back and whack a sticky wicket or whatever they do and drink a pint. LOL Because really, if you've bonded with as many Americans as you say and have this unique ability to know what's real or not, you would have learned long ago... we really don't give a flip what the Brits, Scots, or whateverthink. We even fought a war to prove it.

Well its not just Americans we've fought many wars too, especially with England because they kept trying to steal out land and kill our people etc. Long story. We have learned alot and we're a proud nation, reminds me of America.

I do exist and have posted pictures on this board already.

As you can see I am indeed not a man.
