RE: Why say "harvest" when Hunting?!
When I had to take my hunter education course they REQUIRED us to say harvest instead of kill....I guess it just sounds better to people who dont believe in hunting than saying kill or shot. Whenever I take a deer and I tell someone about it, I usually just say I "got" one blah blah blah....
Who knows...I say whatever I want...I dont care if it offends some anti-hunter:D |
RE: Why say "harvest" when Hunting?!

RE: Why say "harvest" when Hunting?!
ORIGINAL: Seif5034 i usually use the word "harvest" vs. "kill" when i'm talking to people who are apprehensive about hunting. "kill" is sorta harsh on the ears to someone who isn't used to it |
RE: Why say "harvest" when Hunting?!
I have never used the word harvestwhen talking about hunting and never will. However when someone asks me "did you catch anything hunting "I might say "I got" athis or that.
