How do you feel about making everyone who wants to bowhunt in your state pass a bowhunter education course to be able to bowhunt? I know there are about 10-15 states who already require this. Are you for or against it and why?

Against...do we have mandatory football education classes for little kids?...and how many football related deaths do we have in this country as compared to bowhunting fatalities? I could go on and on why we should not have it but I think my football example settles it.

I think that when weapons are involved, education is always a good thing. There are no weapons involved in football .

I'm for it but only if there was a shooting proficeincy test involved in the passing. If its just book work and theory .. nah.

I am for it. A lot of people get good training from family or friends. Some have been hunting w/ firearms. I have recently went thru the grind of getting my daughter her safety classes. hunter/ archer, atv, boating. It can be time consuming and testing at times but I am all for it. I like the idea of knowing that everyone out there has at least a minimum amount of training. I would agree to some sort of test out situation for those w/ much training.

Sure there are---men running 20mph at each other with their heads down. What about gymnastics education classes? Those girls are flipping 20 feet into the air, potentially landing on their necks...and cheerleaders...same goes with them. I am being serious.

LOL If you are being serious then that's too bad . Comparing weapons to a cheerleader flipping and men tackling................
