I just wanted to share with my fellow bowhunters here on Huntingnet.com some pics from our annual youth pheasant hunt we have here every year. Each year we take several kids who have never been hunting before and expose them to pheasant hunting. We bring them to the skeet & trap field a couple of times to try and teach them mechanics and proper safe gun handling. We then take some birds the state of Massachusetts donates and put them out. We pair up and 2 of us w/ 1 dog take 2 kids.
These kids did great. They shot better than us. A couple of misses, but every kid shot 2 birds. It was great. Hopefully we now have some new young hunters.
