Our Gander Mountain actually has some pretty knowledgable guys behind the counter,1 I would even let work on my bow but of course,I would probably end up redoing it anyway.I always do all my own work because I trust myself more than someone else.[8D]

My point is, not to generalize, but do these kids working at Gander Mountain or ****'s really have the experience that you can trust

No.... Most are not! They want a paycheck on Friday and that's the only reason they work there. Again, in MOST cases, not all.

I think you can get lucky with someone at a big store that knows what he's doing, hopefully he's working that day or time.....but at my pro shop they certainly know what they're doing, I try to go in when the main guy/owner is working though, even his guys seem a lil flaky compared to him. And ya he has that 40yrs experience thing going for him. I'm not worried about him not knowing how to set up something....whether new or old. he's done it before, he'll try to talk you into or out of something, but ultimately he'll let you decide. He really only sells 2 brands of bows there as well, though I think he sells others as well, but its kinda a 80%,18%, 2% (other bows) kinda distribution.
