I use all 3 of these for hunting.
-93' Ford Explorer, purple, rack on top and on back.
-93' Ford Taurus, tan, short enough, I can hide it in tall grass
-83' Kawaski 250 LTD, I just strap my bow on the back and drive away.
-I live in town, and all my hunting spots are within 10 miles.

I love the previous Tacoma !!
You gotta get a leveling kit and some bigger tires for that new one !!!
Heck, when you have to "slip into" your spots on muddy days because you cant get back into the fields, or the farmer is working...having a car is like incognito !!
No one will be tipped off by seeing you parked there.
When the farmer is working the fields at one of my spots. I have to go a mile North and park behind a business. I always hate doing that, because I dont want trespassers doing the same, becuse they see a truck or me in camo.

The only reason I traded my Tacoma was I needed something that could pull bigger trailers and my boats easyer....The V6 was ok but under powerd with big trailers and the wear and tear wasnt worth it....
My Tacoma's MPG average was 17 all the way around with out towing, with towing it droped to around 14MPG.....

Ford Ranger, I have an 04 4x4 with the 4.0 v6. Plenty of power for all reasonable situations, plus gets a little better gas milage then the f150. Although once i get out of school I think a full size pickup will be a nice present to myself haha
