Hey PT.....got a question for ya.....coming up.

I've often said that "Ethics is doing the right thing.....when even the wrong thing isn't against the law".

That works both ways, though

Here's a scenario.......

Family is rowing around in the city lake in a rented rowboat. Little girl stands up on her seat and falls into the water. You start to jump in after her......but notice the sign that reads "NO SWIMMING ALLOWED".

Do you do what's "right"......or break the law?

In each situation before us (Huntingson's and my hypothetical).....I trust myself to makeTHE correct"ethical" choice.

OK.........Preacher Tony.........Suppose the sign said " NO SWIMMING/NO WADING"?????

After reading too many of the this or thats my answer is simple,

I'd do the right thing and never mention it to anyone regardless of the outcome and what I think the right thing is was and in the end, it's between me and my God and I hope he approves.

PT it's as much "Swimming" as putting an animal out of it's misery is "hunting".

Yeah but if your putting the animal out of misery out of season or without a tag or permission its still poaching its not "hunting." Let nature take its course.

I doubt a Game Warden would give anyone permission to go looking for a wounded deer to put it down out of season.
