Thanks for the feedback. Im gona keep the camera out for awhile yet keep a eye on her and see if she sticks around and if her condition changes.

Heres a view of her from the other side only noticble markings are on the back. You can really get a idea as to what kind of condition she is in though.

Lots of possibilities but my first guess would be that she was hit by an automobile.

Doesn't look like mange to me. (I've seen and handled mangy critters)

Looks like a injury. Rolled by a vehicle, tangle in a fence, mauled by bigfoot... etc.. There's a nearly endless number of ways she could have been injured.
Or Atacked by a couple of eight pound meat eating squirrels. Poor thing take her out.

I'm guessing shot from above and it just skinned along under the skin after tearing up some back muscle. Second vote would be a whack by a car and skidding across the asphalt to take off some hide.
This is my thought as well, then the animal will loose some hair and weight from infection, and end up looking like she does. Suppose someone hit her with a BIG mechanical BH, that would lay here side open like that, and then she'd take a little time to heal. She certainly may also be weakened enough to feed some "dogs" in your area as well.
