My farthest shot with a bow was this year. A big doe at 53 yards with gold tips, spitfire Xp's and a Nikon Range Finder...and luma knocks...the arrow flew threw the air like a signal flare...and when the deer took off it looked like a dune buggy flag going acrossed the field.!!......The doe went 70 yards and the arrow never went completely through....the range finder+ shooting at 50 yards this summer was the key for me.

Wait!..I just reflected back to 1991 when I shot a rabbit at 90 yards with no sights and a razorback broadhead....we'll call that total luck...But I guess it was tossing arrows as a teenager that brought me to where I am today....And Iam notperfect that's for sure.....

my furthest is 40 yards

I've taken one buck at 42 yards, 2 at 41 yards, all 3 double lung, expired in sight.

Whats the longest shot you all would take? i probly wouldent go over 46 yards, but not like i can see past 20 yards in most spots where i hunt anyway.

I have taken a buck and a couple turkeys right around 40 yards and i know there is something that i shot at a longer distance (small game) but i cant exactly remember right now....

I have pins to 60 yards. I would take that shot under perfect conditions. My longest shot was a little over 30. I took a couple long shots when I was younger but that was foolishness and I didnt even come close.

About 20 yds - I've always known my limits, with the equipment I have had. I have a new bow this year and may choose to expand this range now - but I've always thought "closer was better"
